  1. Maybe it's better this way, with your hope still intact. My RS200 will probably be back for the next CRP, with a less powerfull motor in it.
  2. We only allow S-cans in the classic class on my club and with the stock tires the Chaparral is about .1 - .2 seconds per lap slower than an NSR P68 here. We have a quite technical Ninco track, using the same motor and tires the P68 and the Chaparral are very evenly matched. I think that it will leave the P68 in the dust when you use an anglewinder.
  3. The points total after this round:
  4. Great pictures. Congratulations everyone, this looks like one of the toughest tracks in this proxy so finishing high here says a lot about your car. Will do Nah, it is my first proxy car that won a race (rally) so it has some sentimental value. I am very sentimental, you know. Now we have to wait for a sign of life from Tore. He has been very quiet lately and the site that he set up for the proxy doesn't work anymore, so I would not be surprised if he doesn't have time to run the final round in Norway. It would be logical to keep the Australian cars then and send the rest back to Europe.
  5. Here is what I made of it with the stage bonus points added to the results. Total series standings: Mal and Mel are comfortably ahead of the rest and Craig is closing in on the third place. Antony's Lancia Delta is very impressive, if he had not missed the first three races he would probably be in for a podium at the end of the series. :(
  6. Nice to see some action again. Mel's Alpine must have had an off-day, it is very unusual to see it that far down the listing.
  7. Do you mean this thread?
  8. Nobody took over, Flyslot is still owned by the same people as Fly. The bankruptcy was a convenient way to lay off the production staff and move the production to China.
  9. Tore is still busy, so I have compiled the results with the stage bonus points. Adding these points to the series points total gives this result. Please note that it is not official, I just do this to give you an idea where we all stand.
  10. Great to see that the show is running. Fastest laptime in the sprint section and four offs for my car, that looks like it is living up to its handgrenade reputation again. Congratulations to the stage winners in each class, I am looking forward to the rest of this rally. /edit Playing with my spreadsheet again, here are the results sorted by class.
  11. Congratulations Alan and thank you for organising this proxy.
  12. Thank you Phil. The tyres are PKS SL009Bs. It is a compound that works well on Ninco, I put them on the car because I hoped it would work well on other abrasive surfaces too.
  13. I am glad there is at least something you guys like about my car. Thank you for running this round.
  14. The R3 (rally) version of the Clio has a heavier body to comply with the Spanish rally rules. It is not just the codriver, the body is made of a heavier grade plastic to get it to the 25 gram minimum they have there. The body of the Cup version is only 21 grams. An anglewinder Cup car is usually quicker than an R3 or Abarth. We have a hatchback class that started with Ninco Méganes until the Clios took over. Some of the guys grafted NSR pods in their Méganes and now it is a mix of Méganes, Clios and Abarths with an occasional appearance of a Powerslot VW Polo.
