Thats what Triggy did at BMR but it is less than ideal as its really hard on the incomig driver as he hasn't had a chance to practice much or settle in to any rhythm.
Both Steve, and Chris drove their own cars at the first round of the non podded cars at Steve's, and as you can see by the results, they didn't drive everyone elses car slowly, then speed up when driving their own cars.
Last year i drove my entry 3 times, and most times, looking at the lap times after the race, i drove my car slower than the other drivers.
IMO, i thing it's unfair to have a replacement driver, (who hasn't had any track time up until that point, or maybe just plain slower than the driver he's replacing).
Just ask Smallnails about what happened in the last round!
Just drive every car like it's stolen!!!!!
