That wing on Terrys car is a loose fitting thing , it pops out easy , at least it doesn't break out , it would be good with a bit of aqadhere glue as it dries clear but check with Terry on that , its his car . Its not snapped , it just popped out .

How about posting us a fresh picture of your track in this thread Oswald .

Good luck with your round Leigh, sorry I can't be there........ Damned inconvenient having my step daughters wedding around that time.

I've used that Microsol clear to hold wings in place before. Like PVA it dries clear but stays pliable.
Cheers Alan

Can you make sure that your slot depth is 7.01mm deep as my guide is 7mm. Must have been the only car deslotting in a straight line on red lane. Must be only one spot on Steves track that is 6.99mm deep and my car found it every lap.
cheers

You must be refering to the track join on the main straight , all the cars that are running at legal heights passed over it without a problem , only cars that are too low at the front hit and bump out of the slot. mmmmmmmmm is your Mosler under .75mm at the front ?
Im gonna tell on you now  ha ha nobbled ya twice in a week

Does this mean u need to check the height of the car :P
Yes Yes definitely Check Rick's car for height and don,t believe him when he says "Its only low because the tyres are flat" Also remind him the wiper blades need replacing as its dangerous to the other cars around him if it rains on race day . :)
But seriously all the cars had plenty of room underneath and were nowhere near touching the track some were a bees whisker under 1.6 but thats ok they can be 1.2 or even less and still be ok to race.
As already stated by aastes "They all had to start the Proxy at 1.6 " From there its up to the track owners.
Bottom line if it does scrape the track it needs tyres - if it doesn't scrape the track it races

ps I must add I was dissapointed at one entrant that thought it was ok to install a metal pin as an ariel up through the car roof . It stuck up 10mm and would easily stab a marshals hand or worse short out or damage the track braid . You know who you are

1.2 or even less
Any car that is under 1.5mm at the FRONT must have been under at the start of the first round. If the rear tyres have worn then the front should now have more clearance at the front not less.

I did send a warning to be careful of the ariel I have the same set-up on all of my cars to protect them from roll-overs if any marshall slams his hand on the car hard enough to penetrate the skin then he is pretty heavy handed so for the next rounds please be aware of this

Sorry I wasn't out to offend you but I took your ariel out and threw it away , my track braid is far more expensive and time consuming to fix than a scratch in the roof of a slot car if it rolls over , worse still would be a dead short across the braid or someone breaking their cars flag out of the chassis from that steel pin falling out into the slot. A better idea would have been a bit of clear contact on the roof if you want to aviod scratches.
