Hey guys,
I am making progress on scenery, I stuck down my grass using diluted white glue. I am using tallus as a gravel road edge. I painted on rubber cement and sprinkled the tallus material in to it. I tried the white glue and it seemed a bit thick and goopy.
I have seen scale model railways where they road bed gravel is down and tight. I dont know what is gluing it all down so neatly.
If you have some ideas to help me, that would be great.
thanks,
John

Use white PVA Glue thinned, apply it to the track, add the gravel then apply another coat over the top.It will take about a day to dry out properly.I have used this method on my track to provide " drainage" behind some barriers and also to make a sand trap using saw dust.

Put a drop of dish washing detergent into the 50/50 PVA water mix and you have the MODEL RAILWAY RECIPE.
Dishwashing liquid is simply a wetting agent. Place the tallus in place and pour gently your glue mix over this. Use caution on MDF. You should seal all MDF before using and "wet" product.
