If your've got a tack thats outside (in my undercover BBQ area) whats the best way to keep it clean? I've got a little bit of light rust on some parts of my track, can you use WD-40 to keep the rust at bay.

Skulldrifter.
Some say he was born in the back of an AE86. Some say he even has negative camber on his feet. All we know is he's the Skulldrifter!

Are you talking about the rails?
If so there is a produce (can't remember the name) that is designed for this, the shop guys will know what it is, its like a polish that leaves a protective coating but does not affect the power etc.

Mine is inside but I have used both WD spray and Rail Zip which is a product designed for model railways on the rails with no negative effects.

Do you just wipe the track over with WD?

Rail Zip was the one I was thinking of
we use wd40 on the club track but we run foam tires, I don't think its a good idea with rubber...too slippery

i found that rail zip is good and it also gives a better power flow between the conections. i use it on the braids of my cars so they get more conductivity and it works.
