Here is my master almost ready for a bath in some silicone.

This one will be able to have the Camaro chassis under it as it is wide enough and the Camaro wheels will suit.

That will be nice. Mustang chassis are becoming a rare commodity. Just need to find some time now, I am on holidays for 1 week but am going away so no slot car work. When I get back it will be busy so it will be new year before I can think about it.

Is there an inexpensive source of Camaro or Mustang chassis available to do these cars - or do you end up paying the full price for a car and doing away with the body?

There may be some ordinary looking 2nd hand ones available - but most of the Mustangs/Camaro I have seen look too good to sacrifice.

cheers

You can buy just the chassis and rear axle BUT it is cheaper to just look for them on special. Armchair now has Camaro's for $39.00, a few weeks ago they had a few for $29.00!

You can buy Mustang new for $45.

Put the body back on ebay maybe $10-$15, chassis owes $30.

Add the price of the kit etc and all up it's pretty good value for an Aussie Muscle Car.

Thanks Slider

Will most likely be next week now, apparently my new printer doesn't like decal paper (read disaster), so I have ordered from Patto for both cars.
