Rnd 10: Woodlands Rise (aastes) - 18th October
Classic F1, Group 5, 997 Porsche cup

What time would be best for you guys

Plenty of room to crash ( sorry no pun intended)

If the following week better suits that cool cos SWMBO is heading north for the weekend :D ;)

earlier the better for me - I have to be home early (reasonable time) so the Mrs can go to her friends in Mill Park (gotta look after the kids) - I wouldn't have minded having a few fothies either!

Shane, if Bec has to go to Mill Park, you're both over this side of town at some point on Saturday... tell her to take the kids with her and crash (all you like!!!) at Steve's!!! Tell her you'll swing by and pick her up around 5 on Sunday on your way home (after many laps!!!)

Problem solved!
Don't thank me... only after your best interests here buddy!
Cheers,
Dick

as Knoath suggested ,drop the misses and kids off in Mill Park , leave the car with her and grab a ride on the northern subs bus (me or Dick), I will even let you ride in my newish car !! (its BLACK !!)

oh and either weekend at Woodlands rise should be fine for me

Yeah mate... if sax has got the 'bus' option (dickie (no jokes here) seat in the back) we can cart Moe and Ian too!!!!!

It's black... and it's beautifull!!!!
Once you've had Black, you'll never go back...

apparently....

Dick

I wouldn't say it was beautiful , every time I look at it I find more dents , even some on the roof !!! , but still for the price I paid ,I am more than happy. It was brought to be used as the family truckster so no probs as a slot car bus.

seems I have all the colours in my driveway now , there's a black one and a white one and........... a white one with black stripes.............

I can't do the following weekend either, coz I've put in for annual leave at work for our race dates.

OK Timing etc

Stick with original 18th Oct

Early start ( as requested) for those who will be travelling

Track will open at 11.00 am

Racing from approx. 1.00pm

Order of racing

Group 5

Classic F1

Porsche 997
3 minute heats

So you have some ideas as to lap times

Anything round the 7.00 seconds would be good in all classes

The 997s love the track ( as does my now totally rebulit McLaren F1 - just got to stop the front wheel falling off)

Track record is 6.4 second by one of the Proxy cars this year - fastest car I've got has done 6.59 seconds

So now you know what to aim for

Munchies, sausage sizzle provided as well as soft drinks

Normal donation please

Hope this suits

I reckon if we stick to schedule (11am track open, 1pm start racing with bbq around 12?) we should get through all classes in good time. I gotta be over in Mill Park to pick my kids up at 5pm :nice:
