Just a note to let you know that, due to work committments, I won't be able to get the cars in the post until early next week. KalbfellP has kindly produced a fridge magnet for each entrant with a special place getters one for the top three finishers.

Just so I get things right, could you please PM me with the preferred return address.

I am currently photographing each car so I have a before and after comparison to post. I have decided against photographing the inside of each car as I think thats best left up to the owner to decide if they want their secrets revealed.
cheers!

Steve

Hi All.

The DUPR 2008 cars are all (except one) on the way back to their respective owners. They were posted today at 2.00pm so all the Aussie entries should be home by Friday.

The internationals have all been sent Airmail and how long that takes is up to the vagaries of your national postal service provider.
cheers!

Steve

Thanks Steve,

especially looking forward to seeing how much work I need to put into the Audi to get it back to where it was before the event started!

the best thing is the fridge magnet(which I'll stick onto my slot car box)thats the main reason I entered the series for in the first place.

Thanks for the fridge magnet Phil and Steve, is this instead of the sheep station? :) :)

Chris, you can bring the wooden spoon to the rounds you drive at next year, to stir things up abit more. :)

The wee little Anglia survived the series in remarkable shape with little or no scratches - even the roof looks clean :D

Many thanks to all for taking such good care of the little one

It will be retired to the displayed cupboard - and only driven on Sundays from now on

Thanks Steve :D

Got mine back, thanks. Can't remember how big the rear tyres were when I sent it but they sure are small now!

With 1.6 mm clearance needed throughout next years DUPR I might have to set up my car with 5mm to start off with. ;)

Cheers

Paul

Don't worry Phil, next year I'll spend more than 1 day building my car. There's no way you're winning three in a row. :)

Cheers

I got my car back today, thanks Steve and thank you to all the series drivers there is not a mark on the thing. The tyres, as expected, are considerably lower than when it left, I used Ortmanns for Fly Classics which were the highest profile tyres I had and now they resemble the lower profile Slot it version but actually look like they would keep going for a fair while longer with reasonable clearance

Thanks again for a great series.
