Hi

Drawn up some ideas for a new track. It will be built on a 4x2m table. I'm looking to have a fairly steep climb through the centre then falling gradually over the bridge to the short straight leading into the main straight. The second track was the original concept. It contains a kickback in the middle of the climb and LC's on the corners but others have suggested this would not flow as well.

I'm also looking to move the pit entry to the short straight before the main straight, but with the changing radius curve am stuggling to come up with the combination of curves necessary to achieve this

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated

Can you push the "middle" corner straight corner into a straight - giant turn straight?

Well it’s been 2 months since playing with some designs and trying to get started. Decided to run with only some minor changes to existing plan. Progress has been slow with August/September being two of our busiest work months. A trip to Bunnings to purchase timber, a couple of hours to put together a table

The pressure is now on to get this track up and running before the weekend.

Well, not to good at adding post on a regular basis. We got the track up and running last year, just in time for summer. Sun, Surf and Storms took care of most of our spare time and it’s only been in the past month we’ve got back to doing ore than running laps.

Just trying lots of different things at once. Thinking of changing name from Flutterby Ridge, (after the painting which hangs on the wall behind the track) to RAG racing (Rough as Guts). Anyway construction may not be our strength, but we have lots of fun racing.

I don't agree, you were quite regular in adding the same post 6 times. Don't worry all fixed up and the track is coming along nicely.

Thanks Vinno

I was trying to post when 'fatal error' occurred and thought it was my stuff up.
