I feel more comfortable moving the date forward one week as I expecting ( but not hoping for ) call from Pommieland any day now telling me I'll have to go there at a days notice for family reasons :(

So New date is Saturday 30th July

So I'll ask for offers of help again please

This way if I get the call we have a weeks extra time to sort through date

Plus I get to race V32 if I don't get the call :(

Cars arrived safe and sound this morning

All being well I shall get qualifying done late tonight - if not it will definately be done tomorrow during the day.

So you have a guide as to lap times the fastest to date round my track has been a 6.910 sec by a Slot It Jag which as just about equalled by a box standard Ninco Porsche 997 (on standard tyres) with a 6.921

Through the Speed trap the fastest has been Slot. It cars recording 16.98kph across the start/finish line (compared to my V32 V8 Ford which never gets faster than 13.8 kph - mid 7's) so it will be interesting to see what these Sports Sedans throw up. One things for sure - the fastest cars don't always set the quickest laps as the Porsche runs in the low 15s for kph whilst I have a Scaley Jag Gt which again never reaches 14 kph yet will lap happily in the very very low 7's just tad slower than the fastest lap

As usual PK has supplied the cars all tidy and prepped

If there is anyone out there wanting me to check screws etc on there cars please PM me else they will be run 'as is'

I hope I have set the cars up the way they should be. I did check them all when they arrive and a few body screws needed sorting, some were almost falling out!

Sprints car in dry dock cos the guide mount broke after travelling less than 30cm :)

Shall write up notes/reasons/what ifs and publish them later today

In the mean time results show best lap and top speed across start/finish line. As can be seen the top two place getters were streets in front in both time and speed.

The main reason cars lost time was their inability to take the loop fast enough. This effected some more than others ( McGregors, Scar plus Hellraisers and ESPSIX so God knows what times latter two would have done if I could get them quicker over the bridge)
The top 16 cars went quicker than anything I had achieved before

Anyway more notes later

Some cars you can tell will keep lapping at the same speed lap after lap whilst others will give good times from Banzai laps. Yoours falls into the former so will move up - however it was another of the cars thatdidn't like the reverse camber over the bridge. :)

Just a reminder - my car had a body screw that would work loose , it would be a good idea to drop in a bit of platicine or a bit of tape over the screw hole , just to be sure the screw doesn't end up in the slot and harming someone elses car accidentially . If you feel like doing it - a little bit of silicone in the thread hole , left to dry and take up the excess space in the thread hole may fix that screw loosening problem , I will leave it up to your judgement if its within the rules , I don't want any advantage , I just wouldn't like to see someone elses car loose there flag or worse breaking their chassis by hitting a screw lodged in the slot .
Hope you can get Sprints car going again - I think that one has been fixed a few times now ?

Cheers Phil , Thanks for that . I thought to bring up the loose screw thingy again because I would hate for someones car to be put out of the Proxy because of it . The guilt would kill me - then again if it was one of the 18 cars above me in the qualifying shoot out , my guilt may not run as deep as it probably should :mosh: :)
