Not to sure about Manimals car though, the guide mount is broken off the chassis, will see what I can do.
Surprised to still see a few cars without the rear tyres glued on to the rims.

Going by the Auslot posts or lack of a post - Antony,s car is still going well , the Capri flag post repair is hanging in there . I did read that the flag was tight on his car , the screw in the top that retains the flag could be a bit tight ? I didn,t want to file out the hole as its a thin tube repair , filing it may have weakened it so I thought it would be better tight than weak , the screw may back off a 1/4 turn and help ? Best of luck everyone.
PS how do the braids look ? I have a spare flag with braid on it packed with the cars , to get the flag out the body needs to come off as there is a retaining screw in the top of the flag. Did Brad find the mudflaps ? They can probably come off for your round Phil

Manimals car looks like it will be a runner now with a Carbon fibre brace on the repaired guide pivot.

Schedule is:
Check all cars by Friday night - brief run to ensure all is well. Get repaired cars from Phil at lunch time.
Qualifying - to be completed by Sunday night - results to be published before the British Grand Prix starts.
Racing - Wednesday night. Results published Thursday morning unless Phil has another late night.
Track has been thoroughly cleaned and will get a final wipe over before qualifying and once again before the race.
There are certainly some interesting creations in the box!

Phil's Corvair was the pace setter at around 5.9's. Sprint, Hell Razor (wild child) and Epsix Capris were next at around 6.3's but I think will get close to 6.1's or 6's with a little more time (Hell Razor capable of 5's if it could put the power down). BMR Torana nicest to drive (running similar weight to what we regularly run down here) and I think will be well up in the results. Imugford Charger also nice to drive. Devious Dave quick - would benefit from more weight. Quite a few cars hovering in 6.4/6.5 range. Will have repaired cars from Phil tomorrow and will give them a run tomorrow night. Imkouwell Torana motor looked like it was going to flame out on lap one. Bright light (fire!) under body, pulled over and a bit of smoke. Gave it a few good revs and it came good. Ran about 15 laps with no further trouble - perfromed reasonably well. Hope it lasts. Wife loves the Anglia!
More tomorrow night - happy trails.

Magoo Capri - going really well low 6's and quite easy to drive. Little bit skitty on tyres but easy to reel off consistent laps. Mannimal Escort - body too tight on chassis (this is main issue), tyres need gluing on, two wheels around corners. Gonna be a challenge.
Terry Newso Audi - very smooth low 6's but runs out of puff. Should feature in results but deslots around turn 2 (uphill corner) might cost it a lap or two.
McGregor Capri - unbelievably fast & hard to control. Low 6's - would be a lot better on an open track. Should be up there though if drivers can handle it.
Small Nails - low 6's. Consistent car which should do pretty well.
Sports Racer Calibra - we have a new favourite folks - dropped into 5.8's and I think there is a fair bit left in it. The thing just grips and goes.
HMCSAT - struggling for grip but managed 6.88 on lane 1 - Phil will know that is not a bad time for this car.
Mopardevil - This is a real excitement machine. Very low 6's and I really loved driving it. Most drivers should be able to cope with it so expect to see it at the pointy end. Will post comments tomorrow night on all the cars.

I finally build a car that suits the Tassie tracks and it's faster than Phil's car. That's worth a medal just by itself I reckon!
Thanks for the great news.
Cheers
