As you will be aware, there was significant disquiet regarding the amount of track time each car had at Round 2. This was not so much an issue with a laps based format, more that most people who voiced an opinion felt that the limited track time did not give the cars a chance to perform and was not in context with the series as a whole.

I have been considering the pro's and cons and delayed my decision until after seeing the results from Rounds 3 and 4. With this in mind I have consulted with the panel of advisers to determine how best to treat Round 2.

Please note that the status of Round two has now been changed to that of a no points round.

Bragging rights for the round still stand but the overall standings have been changed to reflect that no points were accrued at Round 2.
