SIDECAR STEVE: HQ Premier Monaro

Tyres:
My car runs MJK Tyres. Please just clean them with a damp rag and lightly scour with one of those green pad thingys.
Braids:
My braids might need a clean with something like metho.
Oiling:
Please lightly oil the armature, rear wheel bearings and the pinion/contrate with a light oil not grease (Maybe at the end of each round)
Body attachment:
If you need to take the body off, when you put it back on tighten the screws to just nipped up position then back off 1/2 a turn.

Under no circumstances touch the screws holding the motor pod in place

ESPSIX : FORD Capri

Tyres:

My car runs MJK Tyres. Please just clean them with a damp rag or lightly scour with one of those green pad thingys only!
Braids:
My braids might need a clean with something like metho, or Windex.
Oiling:
Please lightly oil the rear wheel bearings and the front axle mount holes, plus the armature shaft if needed.
Body attachment:
If you need to take the body off, when you put it back on tighten the screws to just nipped up position then back off 1 full turn.

I think once everyone fills out one of these, they should be printed up and kept with the cars?

ANTONY : Toyota Celica

Tyres:

My car runs Ortmann Tyres. Please just clean them with a damp rag, do not scour with one of those green pad thingys, they are unlikely to last as it is!
Braids:
My braids might need a clean with something like metho, or Windex.
Oiling:
Please lightly oil the rear wheel bearings and the front axle mount holes, plus the armature shaft if needed.
Body attachment:
If you need to take the body off, please put it back on quickly there is a lot of toxic lead in there, oh and do that screw back off thing too please.

BMR: Torana
Tyres MJK wipe with a wet rag will do thanks No CRC or WD40
If the spare tyres need to go on please glue them on as they are not an ideal fit on the rims I had to use. Thanks heaps for the extra time that may take , I think they will last the distance at least up to the time its my turn to host a round and I can get sticky fingers doing the tyres then if they need replacing. I will gladly do other cars if they need new tyres glued on .
Braids A wipe as you would normally do with dirty braids . There is a spare flag and braid with the car please take the body off to remove the flag as there is a retaining screw in the top of the flag
Oiling don't get too liberal with the oil a drop on the axle and armature every 100 laps or so should be plenty thanks
Body attachment reset it as it is (slightly loose about 2 - 3 mm play between body and chassis all around thanks)
Driver feed him raw meat and top up the red bull in his drink bottle at the begining of each round , tell him his Mum loves him and she said to remind him to tighten his shoelaces thanks :nice:

Sports Racer : Holden/Vauxall/Opel/ Calibra

Tyres:
Black. Clean with a top quality chamois dipped in Evian mineral water. Please don't use South Australian tap water!!!
Braids:
Lightly buffed by Nubian slave girls (virgins of course and not related to each other, though this might prove difficult in Tasmania).
Oiling:
Please lightly oil the rear wheel bearings and the front axle mount holes, plus the armature shaft if needed. Use only Castrol R thinned with the sweat of the slave girls
Body attachment:
If you need to take the body off please don't post pictures all over the internet, my driver is a bit shy and tends to try to destroy the world when he gets upset.

If these instructions cannot be adhered to then you can explain it to the Missus. She's the one who must be obeyed.

Cheers

Paul

SMALLNAILS!!!!!! CAMARO

TYRES: wet rag with WD40 and proceed to rub rear tyres down.........please continue until you can see no more ferrodore grit or you are reasonably sure they are clean! Give them a quick true (10 secs) on some Ultra fine wet and dry in you have some please!

BRAIDS: Spray some WD40 directly onto braids for a quick soak and then wipe off.......you will find any dirt/gunk will come straight out...........please dry braids with same rag(dont want complaints!!!!)

Please leave body fairly loose all the way around with the same even rock motion available on both sides.

Thanks!

OIL the all axle bearings lightly and only armature after next round.

Hellrazor: Renault 5

Tyres: NSR Ultragrips. I have no idea what's the best way to clean them. Whoever will be racing my car will have much more experience at this than me, so just use your best judgement and I'm sure they'll be fine.

Braids and Oiling: Same as above. Use your best judgement guys.

Body mount: The car has instructions written on it. The body is pin mounted. Use three pins only. 2 long in the back, one upfront.

Thanks, for taking care of the little frenchy and hope you'll have a blast driving it

Jan

P.S. Can someone post a picture of the nubian slaves Paul's requesting for his set-up?

The Wonderdog : Opel "Jumbo" Commodore

I've got MJK's on the thing so just rub any grit off with your thumb - works for me. Please don't spit on it them though and definately do not usenot use CRC, WD40, ASIO, FBI, CIA or any other rubbish additive stuff.

I've lots of braids in the box so change them if they need it - they are reversable so check that first if it's getting manky or clean 'em - whatever. Please don't mess with teh springy guide return doover.. it's full of super secret secret weaponry and is an arse to get back together.

A spot of oil is good - I use a very thin one. Will trust your judgement as to when and where.

I think I had the screws done up then undid them by a half a turn to make the car slightly less predictable - do it - it's fun!

Please forward the Nubian Slaves to my place.. I need the lawn mown.
Captain's log: We are enroute to some planet whose name I cannot pronounce to do something really complicated that I don't understand.

Im pretty easy with anything but some wd40 on my rear tyres would be great. They are NSR's. As for the rest of the car just the regular maintence would be great.

I don't have shellite but WD seems popular amongst the others and keeps the rubber alive. Your call.

and more power

and a new wing

and more stability
My mum says I'm an excellent driver

Check that braids are flat and tyres are clean. Just a damp cloth or spit (extra good if you've just had pizza). ;)
