What tyres are Ok for grip on a Click Clack Track ? Also how long does braid last when its going over a track join every 150mm or so ? mmmm plastic track

I dread the thought of my much loved hand built mildly expensive toy getting smashed about by someone with a brand new Xmas pressy figure 8 plastic track - How about a seperate proxy for magnetic racers ?
Sorry I don't want to offend some Auslotters but real slot cars ( 2008 proxy cars ) belong on real slotcar tracks and driven by experienced slot car enthusiasts in my opinion . Im not so keen on building a car up with all the time painting, gluing, decaling, etc and installing a heap of aftermarket goodies bits into the chassis and sending it away so a sugared up 10 - 12 year old can have a great time smashing it up on a Saturday arvo ? Are you ?
Just a thought how does everyone feel about me turning up my track ( if its selected ) to say 15 volts and handing the proxy cars over to my 7 year old daughter to time trial , oh shes really good on 6 volts , hardly ever hits the wall or bounces a car over the fence onto the concrete floor.
Just a few Questions;
Is there any standard a track must meet to be selected for use in the proxy ?
Or a rule in place that requires some mild form of responsibility to the track owner to appreciate that the proxy cars are a little bit more than a hack they lend to a mates kid to play with ?
Say something like barrier walls that stop the car from falling to the floor maybe , or a track layout that is designed for a little more speed than a 16000rpm SCX rally car full of magnets ? From what I looked and raced with in last years proxy races in Adelaide most cars if not all cars had great handling and much quicker motors than the standard Xmas pack slotcar set.
Like I said I don't want to offend , just asking some questions that maybe more people than me have considered asking.
