I've opened this thread and moved the two posts above so we can use this thread to provide a Q & A platform for your questions about eligibility for the Down Under Proxy Race Sports Sedan Series 2008.

Van, isn't that thing going to be too long to fit the length rule - max of 150mm? Pity as that Opel is exactly what Sports Swedans is all about.

Is this a classic case of "stretching things too far"?
Sorry, I know it's a bad pun.

How critical is racing wide saloon bodied cars? I know with open wheelers it's a problem but wouldn't the saloon bodies just push each other? There may be problems overtaking a wide car through a corner when you are on the outside lane but that's why God invented left and right corners.

So far it seems the bodies can be up to 175mm long x 70mm wide - am I correct there ?
I will go along with the majority rule on width and length but if you rule out some tracks with small lane spacing you may risk loosing a few players ? Suppose its up to them with narrow lanes there.
Saying that Im all for the proxy tracks having 100mm lane spacing as a minimum for 70mm cars.

My 70mm Audi, still lots to do,but adding flares and big wings and all is surely in the spirit of the sports sedan, just taking a standard body, for me,is not in the spirit of the category.
Surely the more radical and outrageous the better, all within 70mm of course!
"Rubbin' and a bit of biff and barge is not entirely unexpected in the sport sedan world,no gentleman racers here thank you.
