I have a Freightliner transporter and you can fit a 1:32 slot in the back. It needs some racing decals to complete the picture.

I'm just wondering whether some of our home grown hobby stores could source Aoshima kits from Japan??

are they the same size as the fly/gb track trucks?
i also want to ask anyone.. whats the scale of the fly trucks?
it says 1/32 but is it ?
i bought a 1/32 fire truck by monogram and it seems to be wayyyyy bigger than the fly trucks

I did but I used the Monogram 1/32nd Kenworth kit, a bit lighter than die cast.

The front is the standard Fly truck front axle and it easily fits inside the body so I suspect that the Fly trucks are a little under 1/32nd scale

Just picked up this beauty from Big W, for under $10!

Its a newray track, and its supposed to be 1/43, but it looks a perfect match for the old Sclextric trucks. I know they were under scale compared to the cars, but I didn't think they were that far underscale.
Anyway, I think it looks great as a scenery peice, but I mainly bought it to attach to the scalex truck. The originals go for megabucks, and I thought for $10, this was worth a shot. Will probably go back and get a different one today, so I can have truck racing with rigs attached. Should look cool, but probably will not be very practical, as they would probably only make it around R3 radius turns?
I may even try to turn the prime mover into a slot car one of these days.
So if you want a cheap truck, check these out at your nearest Big W store (The store I went to is in the Melbourne CBD).
Cheers,
