I'm planning to post pointscores after every 4 week round so I'll post after the final openwheeler night in two weeks.
I must admit I was wondering who this Lowndes fella was , thought it was a misprint actually.

I'ts been a while for a post in this section ,racing tonight was sports car classics and yes their is can-am's in their too. Good night with 21 drivers. Track we raced on was the Perkins with 3 different cars in the top 3 positions.

All i can say my favourite drive right now is the slot.it chaparral

Shane didn’t mentioned that he won on the night by 8-10 laps did he and smashed the class record for the night with his Slot.it Chaparall!

I had to work late so did not race but it did cost me a packet Chris had two of the new ScaleAuto Radical in so I left with my wallet considerably lighter!

Well it's the new season for Tuesday night raceing at thunderbird raceway in Adelaide 2011.
Season was kicked off with Touring cars on the Moffat track.

Good numbers first round with 24 starters. Feild was just about all Ninco Meganes.

Touring class rules are NC-5 motor with standard 12/32 gear ratio. Up grade parts can be used as long as ratio stays the same and this goes for the wheel sizes. Most drivers choice of up grade parts are NSR,Slotingplus or Slot.it. Tyres everyone runs NSR.

You seem to be having the same problem that we suffer from regularly.
That 'Shane A.' keeps winning, and breaking records.

We have a "slotjockey" who does that.

Our solution is to" take him out back after club and give him a good kicking" every few weeks . . .

. . . . . only a suggestion like . . . . . . in case the guys aren't sure what to do . . . . .




I expect a good battle between the jazzy Chaparral, and whatever Kennedy'rd and PhilK throw into the ring for the NZPR series

Last night was our round 3 of touring cars with another good turn out of 25 drivers. Some of the racing was great to watch and very close. This track is a fast and very gripy. It's one track you cant have any come off's.

The gap between you and the rest of the pack is getting smaller and smaller, only a couple of laps difference compared to the normal 10.

Well it was the last round of touring cars last night with another good turn out of 26 drivers. Racing was good and fast with alot of crash and bash. Racing was done on the Loundes track which is our largest track at Thunderbirds. Track length is 30metres in length and fast

It was a great effort and drive by Gary J who was the driver of the night and had a well deserved win,kept it in the slot and out of trouble.(VERY GOOD DRIVER)

Hi guy's another great turn out with 28 drivers for the start of the new round of modern sports car.

Due to the number of drivers the racing has been divided into two divisions now. Rules for this class is standard gear ratio 12/32, Nc5 motor, open tyres (NO SILICONS),up grade parts.If anyone chooses to run the lightning bodies 4 grams of weight must be added to the body to bring it to the same weight as the cars that have a normal cockpit.

Great class with a wide range of cars,Moslers,Honda's,Ford GT,Nissans,Supra's and the car of my choice for this class was the Spirit Peugot 406 Silhouette.

Well numbers down for this weeks racing of sports car,just the 24 drivers.Some great racing with another track record gone. Stand out cars for speed tonight in Div 1 were GARY.J AND BILL.J,Gary driving the supra and bill driving the Honda.

New class track record set by Gary.J 6 Seconds. A little about Gary J. He can build some very fast race cars and is one top driver who never comes off. He's been at the top on Tuesday night racing here at Thunderbirds for a few years now. Gary is the sort of driver who can drive side by side to you and know's when to make his moves so he dos'nt take himself out or you. Well done Gary.
