Vinno
It's been a while since the last Aussie cars and thankfully they are still coming from Scalextric. The latest ones from the Aussie scene are the 1988 Bathurst Winning Tony Longhurst Thomas Mezera Ford Sierra in B & H colours and the Moffat Federation XC. As has been the case for the Moffat Cars we still have not seen a Bathurst winner so hopefully that is coming at some stage. Either way these two are great models and will look great in the collection or bashing around the track. Longhurst Ford Sierra. Desert400
I'm getting seriously tempted by the Falcons. How do they run vs. Camaros etc?
Vinno
I'm getting seriously tempted by the Falcons. How do they run vs. Camaros etc? With MJK tyres they are good as they are wide and they run pretty close to the Mustangs and Camaro's.
Desert400
Thanks Vinno. I'll hold out for the Johnson/Schuppan limited edition car to pop up at a reasonable price (I'm a Schuppan fan from his Porsche days), but shan't invest too much hope that it will be the Corvette killer I'm looking for. I've since found and watched the videos on Homeracingworld's routed track recently, he got the following results: '69 Camaro 3.8 secs (tyres, weight, guide and chassis float) Javelin 3.9 secs (tyre change only) Falcon XY 4.1 secs (tyre change only) Falcon XC 4.1 secs (tyre change only) Javelin 4.4 secs (stock) '70 Mustang 5.5 secs (stock)
