Car Returns And Prizes

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the delay in getting the cars ready for return to the owners.

Have been organising few prizes for some of the entrants.

Thanks to Jazzbell, who donated his entry and a large amount of cash, and hosts who paid for postage to the next venue I have been able to source a few prizes.

Congratulations boys. Thanks to all who contributed, particularly Jazzbell. To Phil also for running the show.

Thank you linesmen. Thank you ball boys.

Was fun to participate. Hope to do better next time (kind of hard to do worse). :)

Computers. They'll never catch on.

How do I get involved in this, would love t try my hand at building a Proxy car.

Hi JK

Just keep an eye on the forum until someone is silly enough to put there hand up to run the 2011/12 series and things start to get going and then put your name down when entries are called for.

Thanks to Phil for organising the goodies and to Shane for his input too, very generous as usual. (Thumbs up emotothingy here)

Now where's Tore so we can get this series all wrapped up???

Checking in ;)

First, a big thanks to the organizers/hosts for making the series and letting me participate with the old SCX Porsche. I love tuning up old cars with modern parts and a little detailing. It didn't take much black magic to make this a nice driver, just the basic tuning and a bit of luck with the combination of grip/power-level and weight balance. It's been a while since I built it, so I'll have to disect it when it comes home :)

As for the prize I'd love to get the FLY 250LM

Very generous of Jazzbell to offer his car, but I don't want to sweep out the prize table completely, and since I already have two FLY 911's in that livery I'd prefer to donate Jazzbells car back into the prize pool.

Thanks for a great series!

Tore
