hi, I too am gonna try this later later, but i'm only starting to learn, that on a course track eg. Scx, you use rubber. On a smooth eg Carrera or wood track you use silicon. Though the issue I'd be concerned with is finding all apropriate running gear eg. axle 1/8 or 3/32 and then oilites, gear, pinion & so on..... I was simply gong to use the tyres that are common to this car, though trimed down in width, which is easily acheived with a drill and hachsaw blade. please post when you come up with solution & results.

I will assume you probably have some foamies on your Womp.
that being the case, I hear that folks overcoat them with silicone, thats probably the easiest thing.
I have some flexi's that I run very rarely, I have thought about making a mold to allow me to mold urethane over the foamie. It just gripes me to buy another set of tires every time I want to go race them.
Dont know if you see the Protrack chassis where you are. I think they offer a foamie overcoated with black silicone, mounts on their 1/8" axles.
thats my two cents,

When you say overcoating with silicone how exactly do they apply the silicone thick or thin? and is it just your normal garden variety silicone?
Thanks in advance...
