Now before everybody puts their hand up - - I don't mean ust generally cleverer. I mean cleverer in some specific ways.
{half the forum now puts don their hands, only leaving about 700 raised....}

I could probably figure it out if I had days to learn HID protocols and code syntax, and enough USB ports to cook with test devices, but I'd much rather someone else do it LOL

HELP WANTED

Hi folks, I am seeking services of one, or it may be two persons for a small slot related project.

Part 1 A person who understands HID driver principles for the USB port of PCs.
Part 2 A person who can create a simple circuit board for etching, which will be recognised by Part 1
As those who have skills in these areas will quickly guess, I am wanting to create a simple USB input device for a slot related project.
The device will produce simple "interrupt" inputs on minimum 4 channels. It need be no more complicated than a standard set of buttons on a USB type joystick/game-pad. The HID driver could utilise standard HID drivers already in the OS, although I would rather have a unique one; it cannot be a mouse, printer or similar driver which could be "confused" by the software.
This is paid work. Anyone who can help in either - preferably both areas, please contact me.

Some of you probably already figured out what I'm up to.....well it's way past time for somebody to do this. - And if you have to ask what - you're not the help I'm hiring, so you'll just have to wait and see.

Actually smells very much like 1776-ish territory to me.

Strangely enough... He was the first person that sprang to mind.
