Has anyone have experience with both of these? Been replacing my plastic gears and have started with NSR gears but heard good things about Sloting plus and Ninco has some new gears that look similar. Also like the color coding, but just curious if anyone can compare the brands. Friction? Mesh? Sound?

Cheers

don't buy thr NSR "ninco" set for ninco cars as they are 3/32 and won't fit the Ninco axle, I found out the hard way

I might take you up on that offer! Or if you happen to come across Ninco #80231 - that's the parts I need :)

ps think I ordered 2 more of these NSR sets from Pendles (without knowing)

NSR and sloting plus are great products. The hole product range from wheels to bearings are second to none. :huh2:

As for the gear mesh of these 2 products, you can't here a thing ,thats how well they mesh together.

The slotting plus range spur gears are coloured, which is great. As for the Nsr range is only starting now to colour their spur gears.

Ninco do make a nice product, but the gear mesh is always noisy. The only problem i have with the ninco gears is that they come as a pinion/spur pack.Meaning 13/31or 12/32 and so on.
They are coloured spurs which is good, but the product range in spurs is very limited.

Don't forget slot.it,still one of the top products. :) Nothing wrong with their gears.
