Anybody had a spur gear spinning on the axle? I have a Ford GT which was moving really well and then slowly the lap times were slowing down. Upon inspection, the spur gear is spinning on the axle. Is there some type of glue I can use to hold it in place permanently or do I just go and change over to an aluminium gear?

Regards
John

Hi John don't waste any more time buy the aluminium spur gear, the originals just don't cut serious racing!

If $$ is tight, a small amount of super glue may hold it. don't get on the bearings... but the ninco alum gears will go straight onto the original axles. if $$ aren't a problems go NSR or Slot.it rear axle setup. You'll have to change everything from wheel to wheel because Ninco use a 2.48mm axle which is larger than the others

Thanks Syd, Imugford and manimal. I know I should but the car was running so sweet!!!!!!!
Anyway, changes have been made. Car now has aluminium gear and is running fast but is a little noisy!
