I was looking at some trees i got off ebay and they looked like fishing line that had wire twisted around them so i though i would give it a try



So i figued this was pretty easy and fast about 5 min pre tree start to end


what you will need is:
green fishing line I used cheap stuff from k mart 3kilo line
Wire I used welding wire from the mig
glue I went with a spray contact glue
some fine ground cover
a drill
a vice
a pair of side cutter

1. First off i cut a whole heap of line to about 2 inch's in length

2. Then laid out the line over some tape to hole it all in place

3. cut 2 lengths of wire to about 8 inchs long

4. place the wire ether side of the pieces of fishing line

5. place the ends of the wire in the vice and the drill to the other end

6. put a couple of twists into the wire then remove the tape thats holding the fishing line


7. Now add more twists untill all the wire is firmly twisted


8. trim the wire of the top and trim back the fishing line to the sharp you want for the tree


9. cover with glue and then little cover with fine ground cover

and your done
