The cars should be here today

The cars will be given a run some time this afternoon
with the 3 stage run by the weekend hopefully if all goes to plan

will post ore details when i have the cars

The cars arrived at 12 today and the qualifying has taken place

there is alot of difference between the cars at this track

1st 34. mannimal 6.164 340 has heaps of grip and good motor speed
2nd 29. suttle 6.185 331 wow didnt even feel this fast
3rd 16. small nails 6.247 337 wickedly nice
4th 20. phil k 6.280 324 great cornering speed and great braking
5th 14. Obsidith 6.315 333 to much grip and tippy but fast if you get it right
6th 13. gazza 6.402 336 great car
7th 21. davnic 6.403 331 great power down out of corners but mid corner it would flick out alittle to much
8th 18. FCC 6.418 328 got really tippy once tyres got hotter
9th 28. 356 speed 6.421 331 fun to drive
10th 24. yngwie 6.448 338 didnt like the corners the tighten up mid corner
11th 4. oldslot 6.490 329 fast car but didnt like quick change of direction
12th 1. hoffs 6.568 316 some and flowing nice car to drive
13th 30. blue 95 6.568 310 doesnt like the fast change of direction
14th 11. espsix 6.597 310 smooth but seemed but a little slow on motor speed at this track
15th 10. lenny bloke 6.611 312 really smooth car fun to drive and easy to get to its limit
16th 15. Triggy 6.647 322 nice flowing car nicer to drive then mine
17th 5. otfs 6.689 308 car chattered alittle
18th 27. brk 6.758 301 nice car
19th 3. d dav 6.760 309 great cornering really smooth but motor was sluggish
20th 2. ben m 6.770 316 car seemed alittle to grippy and would hop and step out in the tight corners
21st 9. ronan 6.786 318 very chattery and hopped when powering out of corners
22nd 22. john s 6.833 333 plenty of motor but lacked grip
23rd 6. team red 6.889 302 lacked motor
24th 25. tazracer 6.892 308 grip wasnt there
25th 26. tom & cam 6.936 295 car handled great but no motor
26th 7. the stig 7.069 318 smooth but lacked grip out of corner and would wheel spin
27th 8. munter 7.175 303 it tipped over easy
28th 12. silver rocket 7.257 286 bounced through corners and would understeer alot
29th 19. mexico 2000 7.380 290 car lacked grip
30th 23. antony 7.437 278 lacked motor and was tippy

congrats to the top 3 cars

Yay, next round already!

Have fun with it. Was hoping for a good result to catch that guy in front of me overall, you Going off those results might not happen.

Few fast guys down the bottom of the time sheets. This round could be interesting.....

The wheels seemed to be on fine it was a case of the car wouldnt put the power to the track well and would wheel spin it had grip while cornering im not sure what type of tyres you are using and it seems they are not suited to this track surface. I did give them a light sand as well which didnt change the way the car drove

Well the first stage of the rally was run in some hot weather in the shed
the air temp was 43.6 and the track temp was at 40.2 so this has helped some cars and not others
some cars must work there tyres more then others as they seemed to go off after about 10/12 laps

Stage 2 has been run
25 laps in the reverse direction
this direction which is normally a slower lap time by about 3 to 5th's of a second a lap with the lap record sitting at 6.344

3 cars went under this record and a few cars where faster in this direction which i was shocked with

here is how the stage finished



I'm working on the over all standings now

would like to thank Rory and my father for helping on the 1st two stages and the next one will happen tomorrow or on Tuesday

My calcs place manimal 1.164 seconds ahead of me with Stig,davenic and Smallnails/356 close behind.

Very close going into stage 3. I thought manimals car would go well on this faster type of track,surprised that things are so close.
