Given that Scalextric are bringing out the 1975 #5 Brock Car I can now stop working on those (only spent a s*#tload of time on them :) ) but I am close to having some ready for the 1976 #5 Brock car. What I need is a really clear side on image of the Acme Jean logo. B & W would be ok. I have searched all the usual places but can't get one sharp enough to replicate. On the subject of Torana's the 1974 Brock car had a Bushranger logo on it. Anyone have a good image of that? And what was it?

Thanks

Alan

Sorry I haven't been able to find a good shot yet Alan, it's as rare as rocking horse poo!
It was only used for one race, Bathurst and pics are scarce.
Even the gurus over at GMH-TORANA.com.au haven't been able to help... had contact with Ian Tate and he's none the wiser as well.
Waiting to hear back from a meeting with Bruce Nowacki, but I doubt he'll be able to shed any light.

I am still looking though...

I have had no luck finding the ACME Jeans logo anywhere either.... I wish you weren't so thourough!!!! :)

Dick

I used to have a Team Brock Poster from the Sandown 400 in 76 that had a full side on shot of the car. It had the full livery with all the sponsor logos clearly visible
I've had a look for it in a bag full of old posters I have here but no luck just yet. I'll havea nother lok for it tonight.

Biante are to produce the 1974 L34 Brock/Samson car (in 1:43) so at least it will be availabe, but when?

Waiting for an e-mail that could help Alan!!!

And as you can see it was used for at least 2 races, 05 on this one at Sandown for the hang ten 400 which he won, and just 5 on the other, don't for get the drop tank as well

Cool, has this been finished yet. If so post up some pictures.

I'm in the process of making the HDT Brock L34 from 1974 atm. Got decals coming, so should be ready by sometime this month. I will post up pics soon.
Cheers,
Tony.
