Well got a big box of slot cars in the mail today.....woot. As I didnt know when the cars were arriving, I have not arranged a event as yet, so will do that and advise as soon as any info available.

I haven't seen Steve for a few weeks, but i do know he has just started a new job that he's concentrating on.

maybe real life is getting in the way of slotcars??

Hi Guys
Though not a podded entrant and being reasonably happy with the way the non-podded section ran, I think it would kindest to all involved and to the proxy series concept itself if this section was finally put out of it's misery
It's rather unfortunate for all involved and sad the way things turned out

I spoke to Steve last night, he said he'll be able to run the round on the 20th.
Alan, the podded section turned to sh*t way before Steve got the cars (over a month after he was suposed to of gotten them).

It started when the cars arrived at Terry's two days AFTER the event was supposed to be run!

No Phil, it started with accusations of dodgy tyres, and sooky p.m's to Aastees!!

The cars turning up late to Terry's was the end of it!

Yes I know Brett, I was referring to the podded series in general not just this round. It's been a fairly unhappy experience for a lot of people

Now that the podded guys have dropped out that should leave a lot more prizes for all of us easy going non podded guys. You get first pick Manimmal, being as youre the grand champion. Me?? I'll pick the podded car that was on offer as a prize.
