Great job, Phil and a real quick posting of the times, thanks. Looks like LB's going to do it again, a couple of tenths faster than everybody else! And less than a tenth between second and fifth! And just another tenth down to 10th place. It's going to be hot tomorrow. We'll have a real exciting finish to the series, even though Manimal's got it all sewn up. Any one of a half dozen guys will have a chance of joining him on the final overall podium. So, best of luck to everyone ................... see you at the finish line. :D

Phil,

Can you do about 5000 laps with Lenny's car to rubber up the track. He builds his car's strong so should be OK. ;) :D
cheers

Look for the race results on Wednesday.
Lennys car really suits the Shelmore track. Not sure how acouple of cars will go in the race,Stigs car is very fast BUT hard to drive. Dave Gray's car is very easy to drive so will race well.

I hope Qaulifying times on Shelmore reflect a good result come race day......

Must finish infront of Tazracer.... pls, pls Phil, help a brother out.... :D

I'm impressed with that, I thought the old girl had hit her prime about four rounds ago, then thrown her frock in disgust that she wasn't as fast as some other Aston's... ;)

Well done Phil and well done Ronan, Lenny and Haystack. Now I know the comp is rigged if Lenny and Haystack got on the podium :chainsaw: :snipe: Only joking ya Lenny & Haystack, well done guys.

Cant complain, the car placed a lot higher than it qualified so Im happy. Haystack, I envoke the buy the car above rule and I'll exclude ya

Hey Lim I think I ended up just edging you out of the Mosler Challenge. In fact with Haystack finally pulling his weight we might have enen won the Teams cup!!
cheers

I think the custom is to keep them for a couple of weeks till the whole proxy is finished, and drive the wheels off them. We'll send you a report

Well done, Ronan - great way to finish the series and you've shown what Moslers are capable of! Thanks to Phil and all who helped put on this final round. Hey Rick, looks like you've come out on top of the Mosler battle. And congrats to Manimal for winning the Non-Podded Championship. All that's left now is the post mortem and analysis of what has been and what could have been. A big round of thanks to all who organised, hosted and helped out at the various venues and made this series such a success and so enjoyable. :chainsaw: :snipe:

Drivers all thought Ronan mobile was choice ride of the night. Tyres on just about all cars shot. Grained ,worn etc. But cars with balanced handling had just that bit more bite out of corners

and carried a bit more speed thru.

Fantastic! That's great to see my car in 1st place, especially at the end of a great proxy! Glad it ran well and was enjoyable to drive!

It seems to be a middle of the pack qualifier but good in the race! No problems with that! LOL!

Thanks again guys for hosting the round and for driving my Mosler so well!

Looking forward now to getting her back to Ireland and showing it to the group of guys I race with on Thursday nights, I might actually even win a few races with it myself! LOL! (Might need new tyres though!).

Yeah, I think all of us will be glad to see our little toys come back home finally! It's been a long series - much too long, maybe the next one could be a little shorter? And I'm surprised the cars still had the tyres to complete this last round! :snipe: I think we've just about pushed the endurance of the rubber right to the extreme limit. :chainsaw:

I was amazed to see that it was January when I posted the car off to Australia, I had forgotten that it was that far back. I must say though I have thoroughly enjoyed follwing my cars progress in this competition, the highs and the lows. I'm very much hooked on proxy racing now!

Well done to the podium guys,Ronan,Lenny and Haystack, good to see team Mosler up there, sorry to see my car finish down where it did, hope I haven't let the team down there!

Been a good series with its fair share of dramas,I hope I have learnt something from this.

Although at this point in time I'm not sure what!
