I suppose you'll be making the buildings like I have to, just the facades along the back wall to save on space?
Once I start, I'll let you know what not to do!!

Of course lights and lots of billboards.
Got plans for the cement barriers with the fencing attached as the borders around the track and a idea for adding curbs/sidewalks in areas. I think i will need palm trees, lots of tall ones.
Really not sure what todo for the smaller stuff, like servo, convenience stores, maybe a 1/32 scale local slot car shop that specializes in 1/32 scale slots, hehe.
There is a foot bridge across the strip but it isn't anything special but probably use that for a light bridge

Eric here's a link to some fencing and barriers that would suit a street theme see post # 8,9,14.

Barriers
Perfect, thanks, apparently search fails me. Was thinking of a way to mount the fencing into foam for "safer" barriers. I really need to get the taping finished and wire the thing up so I can start scenery. After the failure of the first attempt of taping I have been a bit off the whole thing. Time to get back at it.
Those bilboards are sweet, wife approved acquisition of the las vegas, budwieser, Dr Pepper and the Casino signs.
I found some 3mm square timber strips at bunnings, thinking of using that for curbing. need to run the cars a bit to see where I want to put the stuff though. Hate to put it to close to the circuit and cause issues with sliding tails.
