Has any one out there had experience with bodies from Resilent Resin. I have ordered 3 of them including the lancia D24, Ferrari & a Chaparral 1.
Any tips on construction, painting & body mounting would be appreicated.

Lancia D24 is good a little large and not quiet right in the rear. But easlity corrected. Chappy I is way too wide need about 2mm out of the middle. Depends on which Ferrari. Some are great.
They are good castings and only need a wash, light sand before painting.I have not found any that have air holes.

I made a RR Chaparral from these people about a year ago. In fact the car shown on their web site is mine. Not sure where they lifted it from but it was OK by me. Body was excellent and took little preparation. Fitted a PCS chassis like a glove. The window bit was one section and easily cut to shape. The only problem was with the wing. The clear part they supply isn't really that good so I used it as a template to make a new wing from plastiboard.

Then you need to find a way to fix it. I was kindly given two L shaped pieces of piano wire which after rebating a small groove in the wing were glued into place. I then covered the wire uprights with plastic tube and this was the result.
Hardly a first class scratch build.
The open top bodies will be a better choice. Wash the car in warm soapy water and lightly scrub with a toothbrush. I always used the wifes. Leave to dry. LIGHTY rub over with a smoothish sanding pad then apply any acrylic based automotive primer. I made my own decals.
