Ontheflipside
Pics soon Bo righto where are they, or are you going to lie around in bed all day ??????? Maybe he is still out on the garage floor. The Methane Master was on a roll until wee hours of this morning. Cleared half the guys by 11 but there were a few (just) still standing when I left. Bo found a new use for the worst smelling fly spray in the world. Mixed with methane it was quite pleasant. Good night guys and thanks Bo for your usual hospitality even though I did take you out with my p*%@k of a Ferrari (think it will have to go to the brick wall). Thanks to Dave I now have a lot more respect for the SCX Nascars Edited April 19, 2009 by Ontheflipside Quote I can't believe that I wanted to grow up Mount Salt Panorama Track Combined Road and Rally Track built near Salt Pan Creek Padstow - Sydney A quick build rally track 2017 WRP Round 11 at Mt Salt Panorama https://i128.photobu...zpss7sqiwfj.jpg

Yngwie
I am sorry I missed last nights event. Getting out of the Swans match with the Waratahs next door and and the horses at Randwick meant it too me over 2.5 hours to get home for which should be a 30 minute trip. Glad the night was a success and the SCX nascars took a podium spot. WIll move heaven and earth to get to the next round. By the way, is anything happening re: Friday night rounds? Vinno
Thanks Gazza it was a good night, podiums always feel good. Looks like the preparation of those privateer Porsche's leaves a bit to be desired. Uncle Dave Kennedy will be pleased to see the SCX NASCARS are a force to be reckoned with. Second to Joe's Scalextric was a good effort first time out.
schuey19
Was a great night, thanks again to Bo. I may have had the potential to get a top fiveish in the NASCARs, but as soon as I desloted once, lost my rythym and that was it. Made good starts but couldn't get on with it. And I much prefer driving from Joe's station, find I can get a much better rythym. As for Friday nights, will get back to evry one by mid week about having one at my place in a fortnight from now. teamredracing
Top night as usual .Problem with my Porsche was a bummer ,had potential for podium finish   .Have to speak to my silent mechanic . As usual the racing was fierce and you could cut the air with a knife.Sorry rephrase that ,the racing was fierce and you could cut the wind coming out of Gazza's bum with a chainsaw :arggg: ,nothing changed there. Thanks Bo . Now looking forward to the next round at Mary Poppins track . Cheers Craig Quote Craig "You can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.

Yep the new 42B motor for the SCX range is a definite improvement, no longer is it a one horse race, plus we get a heaps of different liveried cars to make up the field, instead of everyone (the boring ones) running the 48 car Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017

Count
Yes, like all of you gentlemen, I sincerely want to thank Bo and family for the great track and warm-hearted hospitality! Now, I must apologise for a few incidents that disrupted the general flow of typically smooth racing that you guys normally display. Notably, one incident where the car I was driving (MOST unusually) de-slotted and was shunted sideways through the timing gantry, triggering laps for an unknown number of racers. AND THEN to make things worse, I instinctively REACHED under the gantry to retrieve it, and thereby triggered another bunch of laps!! How embarrassment! Most unfortunately as a consequence of this the heat had to be re-run, cunningly providing me with the opportunity to improve my race position. Again unfortunately this didn't happen (...aaah, the best laid plans!) I do, though have plenty of excuses for my poor performance on Sat: I was driving someone else's cars I was driving my own car It wasn't raining I drank too much beer I didn't drink enough beer I'm not used to those lower altitudes I've never driven Bo's new track I'd never driven Bo's old track The new track has parts of the old track in it I had to be up at 5.00 am on saturday to go to my daughter's graduation, then on to a huge lunch where I drank too much or not enough beer Bo's track is too small compared to mine Bo's track is too big compared to Vinno's and Craigs I did plenty of preparation for the meet, but the dog ate it ...and the excuse that is a real stretch and I can't actually expect you to believe I'm a crap driver!
