Vinno
Looks like set screw wheels and gears for this track. 13.8 volts and Ferrodore means broken drivetrain. The slot car retailers will be laughing this week. Mister Ninco make strong motors and great driving cars with some tuning but boy do the break nearly anything with the torque from those motors. The Lotus was really just teething problems which is a pity as it was quite quick in testing before those 10 minute heats.

tvwino
I had a great time, great bunch and some fun racing on a tricky layout. The finish on the track is great, just enough grip, without shredding of tyres. Thanks for the welcome, and the tips - have already been out to buy some lead. I'm hooked, and look forward to the next round. I escaped with minor damage on the Lotus, so I should probably try harder next time.
slots
Excellent night says one of the few with no damage Seriously, an excellent night of racing. Gas masks where not required. Aston Martins did quite well but still need more work. Just wish the braids didn't touch in the the Slot-it. Vinno
Looks like the opening night was a big success, well done Joe! never seen a Slotit guide snap like that What was it like trueing your tyres as you race, like us Mexicans?? Joe is the first to go back to raw Ferrodore as Bo's first track was the same a few years ago so we are familiar with it. Bo got the idea from Jed years ago when he was working down there. It is good as you only need to do some testing with non trued tyres and the car is ready. You can watch the lap times tumble as you test. Plenty of power was thew reason for the broken guides and maybe a green track as the cars would let go when you least expected. It was nice racing on a fast track again.
