stump
Hi everyone. I'm re-entering my childhood with these little pocket rockets..... Having raced larger 1/24 commercial tracks, many years ago, the speed of these new cars has really amazed me... So far, my collection includes, Scalex - 4 AutoArt - 1 Monogram - 1 Slot-It - 1 (chassis)- use to be determined..?? I'm also attempting to construct my own....I have a 1/32 '90-92 RX-7 from a Japanese manufacturer (slightly under 1/32, I feel..) which was to be mounted on the Slot-It chassis...but it would meant cutting the body mounts too short, so I've started on my own chassis...... I'll post pics if it all comes together as planned.. cheers guys stump

kalbfellp
One of our guys was dissapointed with the number of cars he owns. He believed that he had just over 600but after he was on The Collectors" a couple of weeks ago he recounted and found that he ONLY had 580! impish63
Whoops. I just had a look at my post to this thread in January when I had 580 cars. Current size is now 698. I was lucky enough to purchase around 120 cars from a private collection at a good price and sold the duplicates out recouping most of the cost back. The shelves in the bedroom are now full to capacity. I suggested to the wife that we move into one of the smaller bedrooms so I can have more shelves for the cars in the double bedroom, for some strange reason, she was not very keen the idea. Can't think why?

impish63
I did manage to catch "The collectors" when the Scalex man was on, also managed to video 90% of it as well. Anyone wants to pay the post return to me, you can watch it but it was only about three minutes long.

itelectrical
Well, another year has just about ended and I thought it's time to do another stocktake of our collections. I'm sure most people will have more cars then they did at this time last year, but some guys have done cleanouts lately and may have gone the other way. What sort of numbers have we got now? Last time round I had a total of 260 cars and believe it or not I still have more or less that much again. I am a little surprised as I know I did buy quite a few cars but I suppose I sold off about the same amount as I bought. Last Year: 89 Scalextric 64 FLY 48 Ninco 35 SCX 11 Slotit 9 Proslot 3 Carrera 1 Cartrix Now: 88 Scalextric 65 FLY 51 Ninco 28 SCX 15 Slotit 8 Proslot 5 Revell Quote JamieB ITeLECTRICAL Check out my Current Auctions
