G'Day DM!
Haven't measured the lane lengths yet, just drew them out!
I doubt they'll be equal, but I'm not fussed about that... just drive them all!

you need to make one of these
Posted Image
then you can take one nice long drive around the whole track....

If I can work out the wiring I plan to make one - the photo is from Luf
cheers

More likely robbed from the surrounding paddocks!
There are some pics of the pits as they were at Baskerville on that site.

DM, I wanted to do that for the last track that never got up.
Should do it for this one, thanks for reminding me.

Phil, yeah, some great shots over there, spent too long browsing!

So this is essentially taking a three lane track into a single?

yep, awesome foe testing/setting up car as you get each lane to drive. Luf also did the same thing with his Nurburgring 5 lane!

yeah I think it was on SCI forum that I found the pic and the post about it -I think this is a great set up for the lonely racer - as gref said lets you try out all lanes without need to swap the car and controller
I think Luf turned his 5 lane Nurburgring track into a 3 - laner with a more complex version of this if you look that up on SCI you will find info on it..

cheers

Had a busy Saturday... had the boys for the best part of the day, then got a window of 45 mins before heading out for the Old Man's 76th Birthday, then out for dinner with friends... I tell ya what... this life stuff gets in the way!
Here's what I did with the 45 mins!

You may just be able to pick up the lanes in these pics.

Looks like it will be entertaining enough Dick. I just hope the marshall retrieving a car in the back RH corner ( under the pictures ) doesn't get in the way of the drivers line of sight when their car is in that part of the track?

Hey Triggy... mate, I reckon it shouldn't be a problem...the smaller we can make the marshalls feel, the better!!!!!! (I've got a 6 yo perfect for the job!!!)

Nah, it'll probably just be me and the boys most of the time, so if ya stack, ya get it back!
Kinda like "over the fence on the full is 6,... you're out and ya gotta get it your self"...

Hey Embs... yeah, I had to wipe the old brow after that effort...!

Embs
very dangerous comments m' gal.

that's the sort of post that could just conceivably, possibly get certain people saying random things like

"got any pics of your setup ember"

"hey ember - and your track is where?...."

"Hey ember, how's your new build coming along"

"Hey embs, . . do you have the new routed track built yet?

or even the ultimate jibe . . . . . . "Build your @*@&#! track Ember"

though far be it from me to suggest anything irresponsible which might cause such comments to reverberate around the forum....

DICK - looking good Mate - - our expectations are Luf . . . Pleasant Prarie . . . . or better . . .

Great Work Dick. I have a shed needs building. What say I pay for your airfare and you can knock it up for me by half time in the footy!

Great job mate!
