Looks great Syd.

I love the look of raw MDF in the evening :alcohol:

I have 3/4 done all the fences, not shown, with 3 layers of 3mm MDF and 9mm MDF on the straights .It should be ready for it's undercoat by the end of the week. Note the lane spacing 105 mm and the eliptical routing on the corners. Courtesy of Alan Hales jigs. Edited by Syd

Do you mean to say that other people that build tracks don't get the accurate fall on their tracks?????????

Do you mean to say that other people that build tracks don't get the accurate fall on their tracks?????????

 

Some of the slot blokes I know think a spirit level is something to do with their drinking capabilities or their religious beliefs. :alcohol:

 

(wonder if gazza and Teamred are awake yet)?

Ferrodore of course! I will post some pictures tonight of the jigs I have been using for the eliptical routing now that I have worked out how to use photo bucket. These jigs only really work on ribbon style tracks but I suppose that one could be adapted for use on a board style track.

Ahhh, I thought it looked familiar - it's very similar to the track he had down at XLR8 Raceways until they closed ... (The Snake??)

Where is it residing now? And who owns the 2nd track? I haven't seen that one before ...

The 1/24 track is in Alan's having a rest .The other is at a secret location only for the priviliged unfortunately.(not for disclosure) It's by invitation only.

Routing is done ,barriers are finished , first coat of primer is on , just the Ferrodor and the braiding to be finished

75 feet and the height is 110mm (enough for truck racing)

Hey Syd that look's like a fast track, You are still to route the recess, will that damage the ferrodor?
