No Mark, it just means that Racer did not make very much on the five cars they sent down here. The postage on my two cost them 15 Euro more than I paid and Smallnails order looks like costing them more, extra postage and broken car.

Probably the most profitable transactions. :unsure:

Is that right, Father Christmas????

$192 for the JPS car

:o:lol::D

It amaze's me the demand for the Capri in Europe ,even the first version also soldout very fast in Europe.

While in the USA they still have the first model available, some shops even have them on special. Should be interesting when the JPS capri arrives over there, it could be the place to pick one up.

I think the interest in Group 5 was rising, Racer's long build up to the first release fed it, now we're seeing Group 5 proxy, and people are going, "insane looking brutes" and it's the new best thing.

NZ sold out of the first Capri quickly too.

I guess things will level out as they usually do, but it's great to have a leading brand spearheading the rise of a great class of car.

Group C from Slot.it has been the most popular class in NZ RTR, these will sit alongside it nicely.

And having a mostly common mechanical platform is "useful" for the war-chest budget !

The tyres Racer have released to go with them are interesting. The "soft" version suits the NZ gloss tracks, it's similar to N22 and ultragrip, I am waiting to see if the "medium" is the goer for ozzie tracks with the textured and matt surfaces.

- I think ferrodore would tear the soft ones up too quick.

Not surprised at all, after all, that's where they raced.

That were the cars you saw as I grew up over there, after the 917 Lola's and McLaren did not race anymore.

That was also about the time the 2x4 race meetings stopped as well.

I feel inspired by Marco's custom "black Jagermeister" Porsche....... might have to create one of those . . . .

Glad to see the 512BB underway, that is definitely a car on my 'must drive' list.
