Sideways have announced that the Toyota Celica is now in stock at their distribution centre in France.
This was originally planned for release in January, before a factory issue (broken mold! ) caused rescheduling

Sideways have just announced the imminent arrival of the next Group 5 model, a JPS fantasy livery of the Lancia Stratos.
I have to admit - the ugly/striking shaped Stratos looks pretty good in a black dinner suit.

It is definitely "Datsun month"  - did they call them that in Ozzie too ?
Sideways just surprised us with the second livery of their T2 Group 5 Skyline; a (I think) fantasy calsonic livery.

Nissan Skyline Group 5 T2
Usual setup, but I think it is the first model to be released using the same digital ready cable connector as are being used in the Slot.it cars.

My tip I set up a Slot.it GTR 32 Skyline yesterday, and I glued that connector onto the top of a sheet of 0.8mm lead placed forward of the pod, behind the guide.
That allowed me to shorten the guide wires and cut off the soldered ends which tend to break, to use loose twisted ends,  and fix them, so they centre
the guide strongly.

I had been hoping for a little while that Sideways would do the Hawaiian Tropic BMW M1. But in the photos the livery doesn't really pop as I had hoped it would. I know that often the pre-prod photos don't do the cars justice, even so, I'm on the fence as to whether I would pre-order it. The photos of the 1:1 car look a bit different in the blue. But of course the film technology of the time can misrepresent the actual colors to quite a degree as I'm sure most of us have noticed over the years. Hmmm, may just wait until I can view it in person before I decide.

It's great they're doing so many gt3 cars that are essentially current. Race liveries please, the m6 still doesn't have one. I got the Jager one as i felt compelled however it's not the same as a genuine livery, of which there are many.

Ooops, Sideways news has really slipped through the cracks. They recently released a pair of ASV (Astons) parallel liveries except for the numbers #95 and #97
I happen to have acquired one today. All I have done so far is glue and true the tyres, but it is showing good promise. For me, the gearing is too low. I have just swapped out the 28t spur for a 25t and will resume tuning tomorrow.
The finish is excellent. This car is WIDE - about 2mm wider than any of my other GT3 cars Wheelbase is about 2mm shorter than the Sideways BMW GT3. It seems to have less guide lead than most cars.
