TAZTEAM Principal enjoying party  time in the Den, but...........total time so far seems to be 10 seconds to low! No complaining though, that little devil of a driver is getting it rolling!

Note to Team....just beat nails, just beat nails, just be...............

My car performed better this time around too! I think it has something to do with Hmcsat getting to know the foibles of each car!

The track was very fast last night. I am not sure if it was the fact that the garage was very hot yesterday afternoon and evening. The cars had been sitting in 40 degree heat (inside) all afternoon and the tyres were very warm. May be of no consequence but I know Manic used too keep his cars on the back of the old CRT monitor during race nights and the tyres would get quite warm. They always seemed to work better than when cold.

Anyway, stage 4 tonight, and I am picking Phoeno to win the round at this stage.

And we have a winner..

Below are the unofficial results of Round 2 of the 2008 DURP.

I think on adjusted time Jaak will come in just outside the top 10.

So congrats to the podium place getters.

Umm..............i am very happy with the round results!!!!

Thanks!

I just added up my total times against Tazracers and i think i should still be about 5 secs ahead in total. Or have i added it up wrong? Very happy either way!

It will be a very interesting series now for me with it being a lot more competitive!!!

Thanks for the good remarks also!

The car is very good David, just needs a few more laps on it. It should keep climbing the leaderboard. It is smooth and fast but a little unpredictable.

Is the guide broken on my car or did a wire pop out ??

The guide actually came out of the chassis and lodged in the slot. Luckily the wiring remained intact and it was a simple fix with little time lost. No problems since. Not sure on the cause but perhaps some scenery got dislodged and ended up in the slot. As they say....thats racing

BMR,

I told you not to fit that Skaife/Tander ceramic pinion. Too much slip off the line, but being a rally at least you didnt get rear ended by Jack Perkins. ;)

Pity about the guide issue, looks like you were on the pace until then. ;)

cheers

Thanks for the post reply glad to hear its not a biggy and easily fixed , regarding scenery in the slot - trees falling over just makes the racing more realistic huh :)

Results Round 2

I adjusted the times into seconds as working them out in minutes/secs/hundredths is too difficult.

By having them in seconds only, excel can add them up for me correctly.

Event points to follow.
