Park Ridge - 3 Lane Routed

Recommended Posts

Rob, wish I could say I was running laps. Unfortunately life and SWMBO has intervened, I'm still working on the drivers stations..

Hi Glenn,

Did you do anything in particular to get your slot colours stand out so much. Like a coat or 2 of white primer or something? They are much more noticible that other copper taped tracks buildt recently.

Maybe it's the Ferrodor colour that brings out the slot colour.

Looking good.

Your track has progressed well mate... I know how much difference a bit of road paint makes and I hope to see mine come alive very soon too.

What scenery can we expect for Park Ridge?

Cheers,

Dick

Thanks for looking again guys

@Steve: not sure if its the Ferodor bringing the colour out, the photo's show up the colour better than the naked eye.

might just be the elevated vantage point, and the flash.

@Dick: not fully sure yet, just want the track running at the moment, scenery I can work on in stages.

@Gref: masked the lines before painting Ferrodor ("researched" from Davenic74)

Finally over the weekend got some power to the track, the boys are happy.

Drivers stations need a lick of paint, and that will come, couple of quick picks

As Knoath said, those driver stations look great. Very neat.

Now it's powered up there'll be no stopping your boys. Will you be adding timing down the track (pun intended)?

Good stuff, a build well done.

A track so good I'm unashamened to have stolen the design in its entirity. Good stuff, looks an absolute blast to drive.

One quick question. How heavy is it to roll up against the wall, and do the legs support it particularly well? Alright, maybe two questions. How have you setup the bracing on the legs?

Beauty.

Thanks guys for looking.

@Rob & Knoath don't look too closely at the stations, they're ok though, don't think I mentioned but thrsr is also a directon switch on each as well.

@Matticus, it is a blast to drive, just need some more time to run some cars around, (needs a clean too).

The legs work just fine, I've even been game enough to climb up ontop, heres a detailed photo

Yellow tongue flooring, couple of big gate hinges olding it too the frame, and a 4x2 brace held in place with bolts.
