A good result was only denied to you because of a lead wire coming out of the guide with less than a minute to go in the last heat. probably a top 5 position. There's nothing like staying up till 2:30 am on Saturday morning to find out how your car went in practice then doing the same for Sunday morning to get the race results. Building a proxy car is easy. Get the centre of gravity real low, put a powerful motor (about 23,000 rpm @ 12 volts), choose the right tyres and test drive the car for a few days to make sure it works. See you in next years race. Just find a car you don't drive, fill it with go fast bits that are supposed to go fast, send it away and enjoy your time at the back of the field. Staying up till 2.30am is optional.
