Down Under Proxy Race Series 2007 - Rd3

Recommended Posts

Antony, your car did extremely well this round and was a favourite with the drivers. A good result was only denied to you because of a lead wire coming out of the guide with less than a minute to go in the last heat. probably a top 5 position.

Thanks for the info Alan and thank god that wire came out, a top 5 finish could have done serious damage to the team's underachiever credentials

I enjoy racing. Winning or losing is secondary.

Fella's only a new guy here but following this series with enjoyment the whole concept of proxy racing sounds great only hope in the years to come I can join in the fun .

Reality what a concept

You have to join in. There's nothing like staying up till 2:30 am on Saturday morning to find out how your car went in practice then doing the same for Sunday morning to get the race results.

Building a proxy car is easy. Get the centre of gravity real low, put a powerful motor (about 23,000 rpm @ 12 volts), choose the right tyres and test drive the car for a few days to make sure it works.

See you in next years race.

Paul

May the downforce be with you.
