V32 Championship Round 3 - Discussion

Recommended Posts

Yes, another round is almost upon us. This time we are racing minis and muscle cars so I hope everyone has or will have some cars prepared.

I'm not sure how many people we're going to have, hopefully the turnout is as good as the last two rounds.

Who will be leading the championship after this round, I wonder?

Need the numbers if only to marshall, but to race - even better!

No V8's??

Please reiterate rules for Muscle cars. Can I run cars that ended up in Nascar racing in the earlies??

Muscle cars must be: Camaro, Mustang, Corvette I think?

I found a Corvette L88 I'd forgotten I'd bought that I really don't like so I won't care if it dies... so of course I don't want to drive it 'cause it's an embarrasment.

I'm thinking of getting the big fella and the "Superbird" ready for some fun (remember this was when Nascar like teh Aussie touring cars were basically "homologated" stock cars Freddie) I still might bring the bling cars though.. I was using the big GTO at Gref's last time and l nearly fell over laughing it was so bloody hard to get through corners.. Actually I nearly fell over after all the beer Gref and Moe made me drink but what the hell!

Thanks Ken - Being too lazy (and busy with the shorty) to take time to look things up I usually just ask dumb questions!

Let me know if it doesn't come - I'll bring Luke's for you (if he lets me).

OK - edit time here. I just explained your predicament to Luke and asked if I could lend his car to you. He said "Yes ok - but if he breaks it I'm going to take yours!'

Given it was a birthday present from his brother you're a lucky lucky man Freddie!

Well if the announcer is still available, (I hope he's there!!!), he'll be telling us to start our engines any time after 1:00pm!

:P:):lol::lol::lol:

Damn I hate that thing - how can you start a race when you can't see the cars 'cause you're having a fit of the giggles!! B)

Guys - I may not be able to make it tomorrow. I took the little guy for his 4 month immunisations this morning and he's not terribly impressed with it all. If he continues in the same manner as today I may drop by but I'm not leaving him with Wen - she'll stab him or something!

I did find a whole new way of being grossed out this afternoon though. Imaging a baby that stands up when you're giving him a cuddle on the couch.. well he was standing up to get more volume in the screams I think. He was screaming and crying and snotting wildly. Imagine the same baby being at face height and like us all he doesn't want snot running down his face..

..now imagine you have a beard.. :)

..yep - I am apparently a Human Snot-rag! :P

I'm hoping he'll be ok but I'll have to wait and see.
