I am sorting chassis's the Scalex Tarus looks almost long enough. Can some one measure one for me need 88mm wheelbase.

Once I find a chassis I will add some mounting posts to the inner mould and will be ready to go. boss 302 has first ones, just so he can have the first red No 9.

I hope to have some ready late next week. Globe insert mould is now finished, 5 hole will be next then 12 slotters.

That looks like about a dozen so far. Still have to work out cost but should be $20.00.

Dozen? ....... I'd have 3 XY's and at least 1 XW ..... there's 4

And there would be another half dozen guys in Sydney that would take around the same

The Tarus is 88mm as is the AU V8's

The Mustang and Camaro are both 86mm

Thanks for that Gazza, looked at the BA and it was too short. I will check out Rhys's Tauras tonight and see what is the best way to go. I want to make it easy and try and get handling similar to the Mustangs and Camaro.

Don't worry too much about the 12 slotters they were only for the 69 XWGT & HO and the 70 XWGT (Windsor)

Then used as GS wheels, then by just about anything with 4 wheels ..... even saw a set on a gemini (could not find a vomit icon)

The 5 slotters were for the 70 XW GTHO and the 71 XYGT & XY GTHO (cleveland wheels)

The AU is only 87.5mm,but will have to do. There is no 88mm chassis's that I can find, but the good news is that both the AU and BA have almost the same mounting holes and as the front axle will need to be moved forward a little either chassis could be used. I know Thunderbird usually stock the chassis. The Taurus will also fit if the front axle is moved. This should not be much of a job,I have a spare BA chassis so will fit it up and take some pics ASAP.

OK, you've had 2 1/2 hours to take photos. What's the delay?
