Received a Motul Nissan GT-R, great looking, detailed body. Body and chassis nice and flat, chassis quite rigid. Love the sidewinder set up, planty of clearance between motor and interior. Only small complaint is the guide sits a fair way below the chassis, pushing up the chassis ride height at the front. The rake is backwards, not sure if I got a bad one, or if its how they come. Any tips welcome.

Hi All. Happy New Year.

A question re Slot-it N22 tyres -This may have been reported on previously but some months ago I heard a rumor that production of these tyres was to be ceased but I have never heard news of a replacement. Some N22 tyres still seem to be available in NZ but still no news.

Can anybody help?

Regards Chas Le Breton

N22 tyres, or tires as spelt in the Slot.it catalogue are still showing as current spares.

We are very proud to be able to share this information today about one of our new 2022 cars.

Chaparral 2F - n.15 24h Daytona 1967
Code: CA46a
availability: Q4 2022.

272709748_6952552838119557_6302523386183634766_n.thumb.jpg.a102f0d57a6ffaf8e54ebc33f4b62186.jpg

"Here at Slot.it we have a soft spot for Chaparral cars. Actually, we've had the immense privilege of being praised by Jim Hall in person for our own version of the 2E. Now comes the 2F.
About this car, the Man himself said: "For the 1967 endurance races we built the 2F. I thought that it was pretty spectacular and quite decent-looking too. [...] The car was plenty fast with the 427-cubic-inch aluminium Chevrolet engine, but we were beset by more little nit-picking problems than anyone can imagine"--Jim Hall.

The Slot.it CA46a model represents the car that raced the 24 hours of Daytona, Feb 4-5th, 1967. For the first time in a mass produced slot car, the features that are unique to this Daytona race are done properly: the radiators, in their signature rear position, divert hot air through two tail end openings, rather than through their later, 2E style, top of rear hood. The nose of the car is also void of the characteristic aerodynamic balance openings. Unique to the Daytona car, a rear mirror springs from the right side of the driver's window.
Nose air intake and rear motor area are also unique to this specific car. Last, 'ça va va sans dire', in classic Chaparral style, the rear wing can be moved.

On track, the 2F dominated the 1967 Daytona race ahead of all Ford, Ferrari and Porsche, and set the fastest lap of the race, until Phil Hill hit the wall hurting the chassis and rear suspension. The car was forced to retire due to damage."

Coming soon! The new mould of the CA42a Jaguar XJR10 #60- 1st 300Km Portland 1990
This is a completely new mould, except the rear wing which is not assembled because the car would be too long to fit in the transparent top.
Spare parts for this new car will be announced soon.
In 1989 the collaboration between TWR and Jaguar led to the birth of the new XJR 10 model, sister of XJR 11 European version, equipped with a new V6 3 liters engine according to the IMSA rules.
After only two years of activity and 6 victories the model was replaced by the new XJR 12.
