smallnails
I have a 6 car powerbase that came with the digital ignition pack( i think it was). My question is how does it know about or recognise the pit lane? I am confused with this one as i thought you could have "pit" strategys in place so everyone has "fuel" and has to pit at some stage to finish the race. Is this possible yet with the ssd or have i got things mixed up with another brand?

Tazracer
nails when did you get the digital? Do you think it is worth it?
tvwino
ok, can't think why you got that many reads and no posts back SSD has pit lane capability, in terms of driving the cars off the main circuit into the pit area. However, once there, SSD doesn't even know you're there - all you'll have managed is to miss a lap on the lap count sensor, and give your trigger finger a rest. BUT... if you get some software, and potentially do some other mods to your SSD, you can have a proper race complete with pit strategy. Can I be a bit lazy, and point you to a repository that has all these threads and answers, rather than write war and peace online here... go to SSD mecca: slotforum The mods here are great, and support links to their site - none of this feeling threatened lark like some forums. It's got everything you could think of asking, and s*$tloads more too.

aussieslotter
Can be done using additional powerbase and PC + software, see link as Mike suggested.
