Changing Magnet Position

Recommended Posts

I just opened up and set up my SSD Lane Change Challenge set. I wanted to reposition the magnet to the front of the car so I popped out the rear axle. Now that it is back in, the car makes a grinding noise. Did I use the proper technique for moving the magnet? Do I now have to replace the gears?

sounds very unusual, try replacing the magnet and see if that changes anything. If the car was running fine before you moved the magnet then it must be something that you changed. Give it a little oil !!!!! if you however didnt run the car so are not sure if it was noisy to begin with then i would take it to your closest slot shop.what area are you in? :)

Yes, I did get it sorted..kind of. I returned the car to my local dealer, paid extra and upgraded to a analogue Camero which I plan to chip to SSD digital. Just looking for any chipping information on this car before I do.
