oswald900 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2006 Well the time has come my track is up and running. Im concerned about leaving the whole computer system out in the shed just incase moisture gets to it. I was going to look around and get a second hand cupboard but im not sure if it will keep the moisture out. How do you guys have you computer in the shed so the moisture doesn't get to it ? I hadn't thought of moisture, but we have a clothes dryer in there as well :( Hopefully my pc hasn't already been damaged.... How do you guys who are already set up handle this? Vinno 85 Report post Posted July 22, 2006 My track is in a colour bond garage and I have had a computer in it for about three years. I have had no problems and there is a huge temperature range outside as opposed to inside the house. I think that as long as you have decent air flow and keep the computer off the floor you will not have a problem. I usually lay an old sheet over the monitor and keyboard to stop dust getting in. Dust is the main contributor to moisture buildup as it will soak up humidity when the computer cools down after use. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
