itelectrical
Vinno took some photo's of the prize draw etc. We had several independent inspectors watching it unfold including Boslot, Vinno, Oldslot, Joez and Al Collins and yours truly pulling the names from the pot. Good to see Nimrod won a prize considering he generously put up the big one. Vinno and Boslot were given 3 complimentary entries each and amazingly Boslot was pulled out of the hat twice, but he declined to accept a prize. Antony also donated a prize and he was lucky enough to win one back. Saleen385 won a Saleen (what a coincidence!) Dom only bought 1 ticket (out of 418) and he won a prize. Most of the other winners bought in larger quantities like 15 or 6 tickets. Altogether there were 418 tickets entered in the draw, so you can see that the competition was very well supported by all of you great members. I am just sorry that everyone couldn't win a prize. All up $1140 was raised. $425 from this amount was spent on additional prizes which were not donated but were purchased instead from ticket sales when we knew that the amount raised was far in excess of the amount needed to continue financing the forum. About $25 was used to cover Paypal fees and another $70 has been allocated to post out the various prizes. This leaves roughly $620 going to Boslot and Vinno who started the forum and have financed it for the past two years and will cover fees for at least the year ahead. I personally was very happy to run the competition and enjoyed every minute of it. I did not profit from it in any way, nor did it cost me anything to organise.
