Sports Racer
Round 5 will be tomorrow on Matt's track It may be simple looking but has a few surprises when trying for a quick lap. Underpowered but good handling cars usually do well here. Cheers Paul 2 Quote May the downforce be with you.

Sports Racer
The only casualty was Pepsi's rear tyre. I know it started the race ok so somewhere during racing it managed to lose part of it's tyre. This is what happens to urethane tyres if you clean them with shellite or some other petrol based solution. I'll replace both rears with a set of used MJK's. I've got heaps of MJK's. Sports Racer
And now for the videos of each car. ALS, Pepsi and curef. You can see that Pepsi's car was running ok at this stage. Shaynus, Arrold and BARacer. old man, Brumos and JohnnieE. Peter Gunn, Nonfractual and Aloha. Peter Gunn, sticks and curef. I have no idea why it filmed sideways. Just proves that I shouldn't quit my day job. Alvaro, Supercharged and Nev. Dixie, DP201 and bov. Sports, 32coupe and Brooksy. And no, the video isn't sped up, this is how quick the cars are at the pointy end of the field. Sports, lancelot and Jimmy. Brumos RSR
Thank you Gentlemen for running the round.Congratulations to our podium builders, Sports Racer, 32 Coupe and Dixie. Apparently, my Clio needs more short tracks in its life in order to race where I expected it to. Thank your for getting everything out of 8t that you could. charlesx
Hi Sports Racer. Loved the videos. Well done. What sort of operatus do you use to get such great shots. Pepsi62
Thanks to the team and Paul for running the round, congrats to those up on the podium steps. Those tyres must have been an old pair of PGT I had, sadly that might explain some of the crappy performance of the car, Thanks for finding some replacement MJK's I would have some here too if needed I can send them down to you. Time for a new car for next year's series, Nissan GTR perhaps

curef99
even if the car sound bad, it looks like it is drivable and enjoyable... but missing lots of grip. bov
Hi Paul, Is there a plan yet for the next round - or are things down there like up here in Sydney, where we're all just trying to dry out ( the rain has finally taken a 'time out'... ) ?
