Miners Cottage

Recommended Posts

Been playing with the printer again, this time a outback feel for the new rally track in the future.

HO scale building enlarged to 1/32nd scale

Still a work in progress, and needs a bit of weathering as well

I can see how handy the printer is the more things you make. Lots of filament in that.

Not really, about a third of a kilo (roll), that's for the house, windmill and water tank

That looks ruddy brilliant !

That would fit in perfectly as a cottage on my 1960s Longford themed track......there's houses exactly like that in the town part of Tannery straight !

I forgot to ask, but what site did you get them from?

Thanks Greg, here's the links to the items

Miners Cottage

Windmill

Water Tank

Enlarging the Cottage from HO to 1/32nd made all the wall dimensions thicker, so i used tinkercad to make the inside walls and base thinner, mainly to save on print time, even so it still took over 30 hours for all the items to be printed.

That looks so much like my real house that I think you may have infringed on my copyright laws. :D

May the downforce be with you.

Wow - looks like you have your printer dialed in nicely!
Great idea re upscaling HO items - I must widen my searches

They are only toys .... until you pull the trigger.

If you search thingiverse for 32nd scale railway stuff, you'll find a few nice items and no need to rescale

You just have to supply the three daughters

These are all 1/32nd scale, ready to print, there's hundreds of HO and other scales of buildings, park equipment, fences (wooden and stone) bridges all for the different scale trains + hundreds of things from wargaming that can be enlarged .....

Also upscaled a crapper as well, there's never enough at race meetings
