2020 Touring Car Proxy Round 10 - Alvaro's track

For Round 10 we'll be returning to Alvaro's track this Wednesday night - 25 November.

The race will be run in the opposite direction just to be different.

The race was run last night and because we ran it in the reverse direction it was like racing on a new track. 

The battle between the brothers continues with Andrew taking 1st place over my car by 2 laps, despite my car taking the lap record. The podium was completed by Supercharged which made it an Aussie 1-2-3.

Winning order.

There weren't any issues with the cars but Andrew's controller died when he was racing Bov's car. He was on track for 25 laps in that heat so I added 3 laps to the 22 that were officially recorded for Bov in that lane. At least that helped him from coming last.

I replaced the chassis on Shaynus's car with a new one fresh off his 3D printer. Because that makes it a totally different car than what he originally entered it's only fair to the other proxy entrants that I remove his car from the results. I'll keep it in the proxy as it will be interesting to see how it goes against the other cars in the final 2 rounds.

Post race review.

As always it was a great nights racing and because we've raced the cars so many times it's easy to get into racing mode with each car and know how it's going to perform.

There's only 2 more rounds to go and most of the positions now seem secure but there's still a chance for a couple of changes. As they say, it 'aint over till the fat lady sings.

Next year is going to be tough. My brother has already built a clone of my car and it goes well even before he's tuned it. 

Plus the other guys from Canberra have vowed to enter with much better cars than this year.

The top 4 cars at Alvaros were from Canberra so the rest of you better start testing next years car now.
